STEAM Quest: RPG – Session 2

Role playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons have become a pop culture hit, and they’re not just fun – they’re a great way to learn and practice very important STEAM skills. This camp is designed to help players of all levels gain valuable experience while developing abilities like improvisation, creative problem solving, communication and teamwork – the skills which are vital for any quest you might choose to undertake, in-game or in real life. Design your own character, create a 3D character model, experience creative storytelling and practice improvisation.
This camp will meet online from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 to 4 p.m. daily. Campers will spend another 1 to 3 hours each day constructing and testing their projects, some of which may also be online. This camp is recommended for students in grades 5-9 but may be accessible to older students or younger students with additional support.
