STEAM and SEL

Collaboration, communication, decision making, and awareness of the world around you are key elements to successful STEAM Learning. In this session, we will explore how hands-on STEAM learning activities can help students build social-emotional skills. We will also discuss how a STEAM approach can help meet the needs of all learners. During the live panel, you will have an opportunity for Q&A with NIU STEAM team members and classroom teachers. At the end of the week, you will have strategies and activity ideas for building SEL opportunities through STEAM.
