Minecraft Virtual World Designer – Session 2

Are you interested in Minecraft; block, JavaScript and Python programming; 3D development or video games? This fun online camp helps you develop skills in coding, problem solving, graphic design and teamwork. Learn to build 3D worlds in a community server, apply the basics of coding logic and code the Minecraft Agent to build, dance and more.

Instruction includes a combination of live online interactions with NIU faculty and staff, along with recorded videos and downloadable step-by-step instructions.

We’ll use Minecraft Education Edition, which is available for Windows, MAC, iPad and Chromebook. View minimum hardware and software requirements.

This camp meets online from noon to 4 p.m. each day. It’s recommended for students in grades 5-9 but may be accessible to older students or younger students with additional support.
