Creative Writing High School

Become part of an online community of creative writers! Enhance your skills in fiction and poetry as you read, write and improve your work with other creative teens who share your passion for writing. Engage in free-writing, guided writing, structured exercises and revision strategies. Participate in workshops to learn to give and accept constructive criticism in a supportive environment. Get individual feedback from experienced instructors to hone your unique voice and style as you create and polish an original piece for the camp anthology.

Throughout the camp, you’ll also interact with professional writers and publishing experts who will share stories of their craft and careers.

This camp will have live online meetings from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday over two weeks, along with projects that will require 4-6 hours per week of time spent outside of class meetings. This camp is recommended for students entering grades 9-12.
