Description
Before satellites and advanced radar, weather forecasts were made by understanding cloud formations and wind direction.  As a beginning weather forecaster, you’ll explore the science of weather systems and use your senses to make your own weather forecasts. In each session, you’ll make your own weather instruments and engage in fun, hands-on activities that will increase your understanding of weather forecasting.
In Become a Weather Forecaster 2, you’ll investigate air pressure and wind.  You’ll also explore the types of clouds and explain what each type means for the upcoming weather.
Become a Weather Forecaster is broken into four 2-week sessions. Cost: $39 per session. Sign up for individual sessions or enroll in all 4 sessions for $145.
