Description
Look, listen, smell. Winter has a vibe all its own.
In this winter edition of Nature: Study & Expression, we’ll head into our backyards and local parks to discover how nature endures the hardships of the season and seek evidence of those who migrated away until the spring. This workshop will teach you how to observe and record nature in a journal. Let your curiosity guide your thinking as you develop questions that can be used for investigations on anything from animal behavior to ecology.
This program will also introduce participants to a variety of artists and authors who are inspired by nature to create their art. Activities include investigations and creative projects.
